Location and activities

With meandering coastlines, pristine beaches and beautiful scenic mountains, historic Simon's Town with its rich naval history, has long been a favourite destination. Tucked along the shore between the mountains and the sea, it has developed into a charming coastal village with many gracious architectural buildings, hidden treasures, cobbled lanes and great restaurants and coffee shops.

Simon's Town is the last town en-route to the world famous Cape of Good Hope, the most South Westerly point of the African continent.

The endangered African penguin colony at Boulders Beach is located in Simon's Town and definitely worth a visit.

During whale season – August to November – whales are often present in the bay and can be viewed from Azure View's private pool deck.

Seal island, famous for the great white shark breaching predations, is on the door step of the Simons Town harbour where shark cage diving boats depart to view this unique and spectacular phenomena.
